I think we need to let the dems try out their healthcare plan on a blue state and let’s all see what happens. Get back with us in a few years.

So true, Freeconservative. It’s too bad that those that believe that the government should feed us pap from crib to coffin don’t seem to see the truth. The very fact that congress and the President won’t be on the same insurance plan should tell anyone that it isn’t a good plan. If it’s good enough for me and mine then why not for the President and congress? So nice to see a point well made.

Why dont you do us all a favor and point to the lies? lies . Damn lies. just about as effective as calling someone a racist for not agreeing with Obama’s policies

Lies. Damn lies meant to obfuscate the truth.

I believe that if you read the plan you will find that the government will take over health care. Pence is not for Big Insurance. The health care industry needs a huge overhaul. But it cannot be paid for on the backs of our children and grandchildren or those who already pay mightily for what coverage we have.

Way to completely miss the entire point of that message TFD.

If you think big government is better than big insurance, then you have another thing coming. It is much easier to switch insurance companies than to switch governments. . .
November 4th, 2009 at 11:39 am
What a crock. Pence is in favor of Big Insurance, not “the people” who are being shafted by Big Insurance. Government should be for ALL the people, the poor, the defenseless, the uninsured. And Pence makes me think that instead of a government OPTION, that maybe government SHOULD take over health care for real.

I agree, it is really REFRESHING to hear the call for personal responsibilty and small government! No apologies!

If this were a partisan issue, the lefties in congress wouldn’t be having so much trouble with the blue dogs dems. nothing Pelosi and/or Reid produces can be useful for anything but toilet paper. everyone will lose with obamacare — EVERYONE except congress and Obama and friends. 1/6th of our economy — it will give them control of nearly 1/2 of our economy total — we can’t allow this now or ever. there will be no turning back — it will not be passed peacefully. this is unAmerican.

Thank you for posting, Rep. Pence. I’d be proud to call you my congressman. You come across as articulate, even presidential, dare I say, Reaganesque! It’s refreshing to hear someone in Congress who takes seriously his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution. Now may we as citizens do our duty and make our voices heard.

Dude, I agree with his message but those family pics are stock photos that you can get for a dollar on the internet. I’m a designer and I’ve used them lol.

Mike Pence as a republican I’m getting so tired of both parties working against each other instead of working for the sake of what is best for the people we’re supposed to serve. If you pathetic lawmakers would stop acting like children it would be a good start. Shame on all in congress! Stop allowing big money to determine your behaviors, we’re not as stupid as you think!

Silleyboob… I mean Billeybop!
It’s a lot of Dem.’s and BlueDog Dem’s who opose this power grab for 1/6 of the American Economy
November 4th, 2009 at 3:38 pm
Are you kidding me? The Republicans have put forth some 30 health care reform bills this year alone. Every single one of them were blocked in committy by the democrat party of NO.
Yes that means President Obama and company are lieing when they say the Republicans want the status quo. Or that they have not come up with their own plan. They just know the media will run cover for them, as they have.

Do Obama, Pelosi and Reid believe in the Constitution? Just wondering…..
November 4th, 2009 at 5:51 pm
Oh, I see. Take away personal choice and personal freedom. Force everyone to do things your way. If you hate freedom so much why don’t you do us all a favor and LEAVE!
And they want to exempt Hawaii and open the floodgates for people who want to shop for private insurance when we’re all forced on to a public plan. It’s called capitalism (but only in Hawaii!)

Pence 2012! Please run Mike!
