   Tell me this, TiredOfTheIdiotLeft. An 11 year old girl gets pregnant because she’s raped. An extreme example, yes, but it can happen. Would you say that, because abortion is “wrong”, that she should give up her entire remaining childhood (yup, still a child herself), and suffer the massive damage it will likely do to her body? Never in a million years would I allow my daughter to have to suffer this. I’m against late-term, but there’s always cases where it’s the right action.

   I find it immensely funny that Republicans are supposed to be for less government, then turn around, and make comments like TiredOfTheIdiotLeft here. If you really believed that government should stay out of our lives, then you’d let states deal with abortion, as they have in the past. You’d let states deal with policies about gay marriage, and stop trying to get involved at the federal level. To do otherwise is just hypocritical.

There are countless agencies that provide for women who have decided to keep their child, but are in need of assistance. You only see one side, because you are a narrow minded dumb fuck.

    This is where your logic fails because you do own your own body. Your argument has everything to do with morality and nothing to do with property rights. On a the basis of property rights a mother has every right to do anything to that child until it is capable to live on its own. Now, if you want a morality debate, I 100% agree. Abortion is wrong, but when property rights are concerned, there will be no sterility happening.

    There is no rational argument that brings forth the logic of abortion. We have heard them all. If you try to justify it, then you are only doing so to cover up your own feelings of guilt. Deep down you know its wrong, and choose not to acknowledge it. Or at least I hope so anyway. I hope people actually feel there is a good reason for infanticide, and our country isn’t truly this evil. That means there is hope.     How is this for a crazy idea; if you want an abortion, and your life is not at risk, then you must sign a waiver stating you agree to sterility for life. You will then have a vasectomy or partial hysterectomy and will not be able to give birth ever again. Then those who are so quick to abort the child will then think alot harder on the state of future reproduction. The mother has a choice in it as well as the father. A bit extreme huh?     We need laws regulating abortion. If, and only if, the mother can prove she or the baby are at risk, then the abortion could take place. Proof of incest and rape are other valid reasons. Can we not agree on that. To simply say that its ok to terminate because they were irresponsible and had sex is not an excuse. What is wrong with us that we can think that this is acceptable behavior. If the father and mother are in poverty, then there should be laws in place to expedite adoption.

    If you comment saying that the mother has a right to live, then I agree with you. But we all know what the primary objective of abortion is. Its a method of birth control, plain and simple. Don’t pretend like you care if abortion is legal because the mother’s life is in danger. The majority of abortions performed arenot done so because the baby or mother’s life is at risk, its because the baby is simply not wanted by that individual.
